March 16, 2007 Hey Jackass Samurai Fans, Currently, Bryan and I are working on Issue #1 of Jackass Samurai. Also, I'm getting everything ready for our online comic and for those of you folks who did not get the opportunity to purchase a copy of Issue #0 to do so online. Thank you for all of the emails. My email box is full every day. I appreciate you folks taking the time to ask questions and sharing your thoughts on the book with me. Bryan is a fantastic artist. Our launch of Jackass Samurai at the San Francisco Wondercon was awesome! It was an experience that both Bryan and I will never forget. Bryan was so excited to show our book that he ran right into Ray Park, aka. Darth Maul/Toad fame, and did not even know it. And Bryan is a huge fan of his too. It was a great feeling to sell out on Saturday. Many thanks to those who came back the next day to purchase a copy of the book. We would like to thank each one of you who purchased Issue #0 or supported us at this year's WonderCon. Here's a few snapshots from our friend Sabin who visited us at the con. Also, special thanks to our friends from work Patrick, Zack, Tyson, Jackie, Yancy, Brian, and Bryan's family. Thank you for your support.
So, what's next Paul? You ask. Well, Bryan and I are pressing full steam on completing Jackass Samurai Issue #1. I am revising the script for Issue #1 right now and will be delivering the final script to Bryan this week. Bryan will then do his artistic magic. We have many great things planned for the Jackass Samurai series and this site. Check back often for site updates. We will be posting more of our photos and sketches from the convention.
